Our WorX Programs
The Center for FaithJustice offers three core programs — ServiceworX, JusticeworX, and LeaderworX — that are targeted at middle, high school, and college students accordingly. Named for the biblical passage that inspired them, “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:26), these innovative programs seek to engender in participants a deep understanding of systemic poverty and instill lifelong values of justice through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. In addition to these, we also offer specialty FaithJustice Xperiences, the FaithJustice Fellowship and other academic year programs. Contact us today for more information!
Don’t see what you’re looking for in our menu of traditional WorX programs? We are always happy to discuss customized retreats and programs! Or, perhaps you are just in need of retreat space. We offer that, too! Be sure to check out our CASA retreat house. Reach out today to begin to explore your options!

On ServiceworX middle school students explore service and social justice through the lens of the Catholic faith. Skilled youth ministry staff facilitate engaging prayer services, lively discussions, and dynamic community service experiences. We design and run the week-long, daytime program at the participating host parish or school, with outreach to local social service agencies and non-profit organizations. ServiceworX is a fun-filled way to help young people learn the meaning of faith and service.

On JusticeworX, high school students spend a week of their summer in an overnight setting exploring the Gospel call to build a more just world, participating in dynamic prayer services, building community with fellow participants and volunteering in the community. Students return home prepared and inspired to make service and justice central components of their lives. Each year features new, engaging content, so veterans and newcomers alike will experience a unique and inspiring experience.

LeaderworX is a dynamic summer opportunity for young adults interested in social justice and service bound with faith. Members live in community, serve in diverse capacities, share their faith, and help lead youth on ServiceworX and JusticeworX trips. In addition to serving others, LeaderworX are also educated for justice according to Catholic social teaching and are developed as leaders, receiving spiritual and professional formation throughout the summer. Young adults seeking to discern how they can work for justice, peace and human dignity, are interested in beginning careers as youth ministers or catechetical leaders, or desire to serve the wider Church are particularly good candidates for LeaderworX.
