Lawrenceville, NJ (July 2023) – The Center for FaithJustice (CFJ) has received a grant of $1,249,844 from Lilly Endowment Inc. to help establish a new project called “Family Matters: Empowering Catholic Caregivers as Protagonists in Domestic Faith Stories.”
The project is being funded through Lilly Endowment’s Christian Parenting and Caregiving Initiative. The aim of the initiative to help parents and caregivers share their faith and values with their children.
A collaborative effort with RENEW International, “Family Matters” will pilot a new program at 12 parishes aimed at nurturing Christian protagonism among parents and caregivers in those respective communities.

The Center for FaithJustice and Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at IUPUI are proud to announce the release of their new study on youth engagement in faith, service, and social justice, “What WorX: Measuring the Impact of Faith-based Service and Social Justice Programs on Catholic Youth.”
Responses from former participants and their parents indicate that the signature “WorX” programs for youth and young adults offered by CFJ continue to have a lasting effect on their lives well after the programs have concluded, including decisions to practice their faith and volunteer in their communities.
